Hiring the Tipi for an event or workshop

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They apply to all services provided by xxx (“I”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

Changes to bookings 

Any modification to the booking must be sent in writing by the client and is not confirmed unless written confirmation of the change is received from the venue. Additional charges may be incurred by the client for these changes

No show

In the event of a no show by the client without notice the venue will charge the client compensation equal to the total event charges.  The client acknowledges that such compensation is reasonable as a result of the lost revenue by the venue.

Cancellation

 In the the event of a cancellation the following charges apply

 15  days or more before the event date, no cancellation charge

 14 - 7 days prior a 50 % of the total booking charges will be retained by the venue

7 days prior 100% of the total booking charge will be retained by the venue

In the event that we have to cancel due to an emergency or for any other reason you will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative date. 

 Payment

 A deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking.  100% of the balance must be paid 7 days prior to the start of the event. 

 Any additional requirements requested during the hire period must be paid in full (firewood, refreshments etc) or 7 days prior if prebooked. 

 Damage 

 Apart from any damages caused by the negligence or breach of contract by the venue the client is responsible for all damages, including personal injury, material, and immaterial damages in connection with this event contract.  

The client is responsible for any damage to the venue, Tipi and the participants arising from the activity undertaken by the participants and/or because of any equipment brought to the venue. 

Rubbish Removal

The client must clear and remove all rubbish, other materials (including signs) not belonging to the venue. So that the venue is clean and tidy as found on arrival. 

Should the venue incur expenses as a result of removing rubbish left by the client or guests, such expenses will be re charged to the client and will be payable within 30days of receipt of invoice

Theft

The client is responsible at all times for the safety and security of any items belonging to it or its participants brought to the venue.  The venue will not in any circumstances be liable to the client for loss or damage to any such items unless due to the venue’s negligence.

Parking 

Allocated Parking space will be agreed, the client will coordinate and manage all related traffic marshalling for the entirety of its event.

Insurance 

The venue and the client shall maintain for the duration of the event contract all statutory insurance cover for their respective activities. 

We kindly ask

That you do not bring live animals onto the premises without prior written consent

Do not carry out any electrical or other works to the venue, including affixing any materials to any part of the venue without our prior written consent

The Land

We ask everyone who visits to tread lightly — leaving the field, the hedgerows, and the surrounding land exactly as they found it. Please take any litter home with you, stay on the paths where possible, and notice the living world around you. The beauty of this place is part of what makes it special.

The Tipi

The tipi is a sacred and sheltering space. We ask that you enter it with a little of the same care you'd bring to someone's home — removing your shoes, handling props and blankets with respect, and leaving the space tidy for the next person. This isn't about rules; it's about keeping something beautiful, beautiful.

4. AGREEMENT OF RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I hereby agree to the following:

As I participate in activities offered by Yoga with Esther. I understand that the offerings are not a substitute for medical attention, diagnosis, or treatment.

I will receive yoga/fitness related information and instruction. I recognize that all programs may cause physical injury and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards.

If at any time during the activities I feel discomfort or pain, I will inform and seek assistance from the teacher. I may rest at any time during the class. I will listen to my body and respect its limits

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in any activity program. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition that would prevent my participation in yoga classes.

I recognize that it is my responsibility to notify my teacher of any serious illness, injury or change in my medical history before every class

I accept that neither the instructors, nor the hosting facility, are liable for any injury, or damages, to person or property, resulting from my participation.

I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand it’s contents I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
